This Golf Fit program is designed tomeet the specific demands of the
game. Whether you are new to the game, a weekend golfer, or a
tournament player, all golfers want to accomplish the same thing . . .
Hit the ball farther with more accuracy, eliminate back pain, and bring
their handicap down. The official season is the ideal time to start a
training program since the muscles need time to acclimate to the
movements before playing a round of golf. Our program will focus on
Flexibility for injury prevention, a golf specific Strength Training routine
to counteract the imbalances that are inherent with swinging a club
the same way thousands of times each year, and Power to hit the ball
further. These sessions will be lead by Aaron and Tammy Pankau,
owners of the Valpo Athletic Club, who are certified in ACSM, NASM,
and ACE.
